reBASE LAND: Economics and Pricing

With the long-awaited launch of reBASE LAND almost here, it’s a good time to start dropping some alfa regarding its economics and pricing.

Just a quick overview on the structure of reBASE LAND: Each location (eg. Los Angeles) will be made up of pieces of land → these pieces of land will be made up of a certain number of hexes. The higher tier the piece of land, the higher the number of hexes.

Crash course done, now let’s dive into the numbers.

Details

Each piece of land will be made up of varying ranges of hex quantity (*Tier name is tentative):

• Tier-1 will have ~75 hexes
• Tier-2 will have ~35–50 hexes
• Tier-3 will have ~25–35 hexes
• Tier-4 will have ~20–25 hexes
• Tier-5 will have ~10–20 hexes

*Hex size to be confirmed in details.

Land Utility

1. Landowners will have access to purchase the gallery module where landowners will get airdrops from reBASE COLLECTION NFTs to act as a seller and receive commission on every NFT sales transaction.
2. Landowners will be granted the capacity to stake native tokens, with the amount of tokens dependent on the size of their land. For example, on large land, users have the ability to stake 100K USD worth of tokens.
3. The land will give access to early NFT minting based on specific regions. For example, if we drop a Nike NFT collection in LA, all landowners residing in the LA region will get early access.
4. We will be starting with small batches every month with our unique selection of districts which will have unique landmarks owned by our collaboration partners and investors. We will be announcing the partners and whitelisting for each district.
5. Every month, since we have a lot of top-tier NFTs, we will have exclusive airdrops. We will be giving lucky landowners airdrops (maybe they could be airdropped an NFT worth 10K, who knows 👀).
6. Users or brands that wish to drop NFT collections on your land will need to pay you fees to use your land.
7. In the future, we will implement the UGC items as well as gamification on reBASE LAND.

reBASE LAND Sale Info

The first ever sale of reBASE LAND will have Los Angeles as its location of interest.

Each Loot Box contains a piece of land that is tokenized as an NFT. Odds of receiving the different tiers of land will vary across different Loot Box tiers.

Odds per Tier(*Tier name is tentative)

Loot Box pricing is as follows:

• Tier-1 Loot Box → Auction Only
• Tier-2 Loot Box → 200 $SOL
• Tier-3 Loot Box → 80 $SOL
• Tier-4 Loot Box → 20 $SOL
• Tier-5 Loot Box → 7 $SOL

For the land sale, there will be a total of 1090 land pieces on offer.

• Tier-1 will have 40 pieces of land (capped at 2 Tier-1 Loot Boxes per person)
• Tier-2 will have 60 pieces of land (capped at 3 Tier-2 Loot Boxes per person)
• Tier-3 will have 100 pieces of land (capped at 4 Tier-3 Loot Boxes per person)
• Tier-4 will have 390 pieces of land (capped at 5 Tier-4 Loot Boxes per person)
• Tier-5 will have 500 pieces of land (capped at 7 Tier-5 Loot Boxes per person)
